KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Manage & execute the Cargill Bio Industrial capital budget in Brazil
• Improve and implement Cargill Engineering best practices and principles in Cargill Bio Industrial factories in Brazil.
• Work together with the Manufacturing Technology Leader and factories to achieve highest standards of process safety.
• Cooperate with third parties to produce products
• Identify and gather the resources necessary to complete projects.
• Help resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Monitor progress and performance to meet the project plan goals.
• Collaborate with senior partners to ensure project meets requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
• Help coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management and troubleshooting for engineering projects.
• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Process or Mechanical engineering
• Solid experience with project management in the engineering field
• Strong experience with production of industrial products in the chemical and/or oil industry
• Process safety experience
• Fluent English and Portuguese with good communication skills
• The position will be based in Ponta Grossa (preferred) or Mairinque (alternative)
